Can one grow old gracefully with a name like Child Pornography? Apparently, yes. On this 3rd full length, She’s Got Legs, the youthful perkiness that has always characterized this band is not lost. Left behind though is the lo-fi buzz and hum. With clarity as a weapon, Child Pornography drive decisive guitar slices through epileptic beats for the most memorable autism-pop you’ve yet to hear.
This evolution in sound is not a change to maturity, but just a refining of how much yappering, melo-drama, and exclamation a band can really stuff into the sound known as ROCK. Don’t call them electroclash or nu-rave or whatever. These guys are the Rolling Stones of YOUR generation, so get struttin.
